Indeed, Simmons is much more than a spiritual leader. He serves on the board of Sacramento Act, a community organization that focuses on empowering people to make a real commitment to change the social issues facing our communities, to include but not limited to gang violence prevention, police and community relations, health awareness, school to prison pipeline, and human trafficking.
Currently, serves as the Director for Black Child Legacy Campaign for the Valley Hi Community CIL, a board member for Sacramento Act, Mack Road Partnership and is a part of the PICO strategic planning committee. He continues to lean forward in serving to see the violence reduced in the community. He is a husband to Katrina Simmons for 17 years, father and great community leader. He is driven, focused and passionate about the work that he is doing for the Kingdom.
